If anyone knows why I am having difficulties, please tell me! ThanksĪs working1 said, this is the wrong forum for printer support. I went to Hp's website and downloaded the drivers and then went through bonjou to add the printer and it couldn't find the drivers.
However, I plug the printer in directly to the computer and bam! Drivers, drivers, and more drivers. I don't know why these 2 computers were working and now they're not but with the 2 xp I try to add the printers both ways and I cannot find the drivers. (IP_Dexters-Lab.local.9100), Still NOTHING! The biggest problem is though with the driver. I even try manually adding it via a new TCP/IP port. After I add it though I run a test print and NOTHING. I use bonjour to add the printer and everything works great. The printer as you see is a hp psc 2200 series. I brought down the network a couple of days ago to replace the modem and when I brought it back up my 2 xp computers won't print. I have my modem connected to my Airport Wireless router and all 4 computers connect to the internet wirelessly.
I have even had an IT remotely troubleshoot and he couldn't resolve my issue! Let's see how smart the rest of the world is! I have 4 computers in my home (2 Vista & 2 XP home edition). I currently have the most rediculous printer problem in the history of printer problems.
